A family story

1989 : our grand-father, Nicolas, starts the outdoor breeding of 30,000 Mulard ducks per year.

1995 : creation of Tedimex LTD by Mr Ilia Tenev and Mr Vladimir Jelev who carry on the tradition from grand-father Nicolas, by incorporating new technologies for better breeding performances. The number of fat ducks bred increases to100,000 a year.

1997-1999 : breeding 20 000 fat geese per year alongside with the Mulard ducks.

2001-2008 : breeding one million chickens per year alongside with the Mulard ducks.

2003 : building of an animal feed-processing plant, ISO certified.

2004 : incorporation of a pad-cooling system in the buildings for breeding.

2006 : Mr George Latev, Nicolas’s grandson, begins to work as sales manager in the company, thus ensuring the exportation of our products in the world.

Increase of the number of fat ducks bred to 160 000 a year.

2009 : incorporation of Chabeauti’s scraping systems in the buildings for breeding. Implementation of the programme of the evacuation of organic wastes, according to the ecological laws of the European Union. “Eco” certification of all our breeding factories and force-feeding factories. Number of fat ducks produced from then on: approx. 200 000 a year.

2010 : acquisition of a third of the shares of TER-M LTD, a company specialized in the slaughtering of fowls. Launching a slaughtering-line unit of fat ducks in September.
